Privacy Policy

We collect only what we need to sell you a book and deliver it. This policy explains what that is and what we do with it, in line with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

What we collect

At checkout: your full name and email address, and the payment method you choose.
From PayMongo: confirmation that your payment went through, the amount, and a payment reference. We never receive your card number, e-wallet PIN or bank login.
If you send feedback: whatever you choose to write in the reader feedback form.

How we use it

To email you your files and resend them if you ask.
To personalise your copy: your name, email and licence ID are printed on its licence page.
To keep a record of your licence, so we can verify your purchase, answer support requests and send you updated editions you are entitled to.
To keep accounting records of sales.

We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers, each only for its part of the job:

PayMongo: payment processing.
Supabase: the database that stores orders and licences.
Resend: sending the delivery email.
Vercel: hosting this website.

How long we keep it

We keep order and licence records for as long as your licence is valid and as long as Philippine tax and accounting rules require us to keep sales records. Feedback is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted where we are not required to keep it. You can also object to how it is used. Email bibliotech@brilliantlabsph.com and we will respond within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph).
